Gordon was always the kind, calm and gentle giant in our friendship group. I have very happy memories of the times we spent together. Gordon navigated through life calmly and with a smile. He was a lovely friend - the kind you never forget in spite of the years between - and he was a wonderful Dad and husband too I know.
