Gordon, we never met but I feel that I knew you through the love your daughter had for you. I know this is meant to be about you, but I'm sure you were never prouder then when people were talking about Katy. So I'm going to do that now. You created a truly extraordinary human being. Touched by so much darkness, yet filled with so much light, empathy and happiness.
So much of that is innate in her (to know her is to love her), but it also came from what you and Jackie gave her through your unwavering support, love and belief. Rest in peace, Gordon, and know that your legacy, in raising such a champion of human spirit, lives on. She's currently consumed by grief but I know she will continue to make you proud every day.
